Role & responsibilities
The IT Executive is responsible for overseeing, maintaining, and enhancing the organization's IT systems and infrastructure. This role includes providing technical support, managing hardware and software resources, ensuring data security, and implementing new technologies to improve efficiency and productivity
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Support:
1.1. Provide first-line support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
1.2. Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems promptly.
1.3. Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
2. IT Infrastructure Management:
2.1. Monitor and maintain computer systems, servers, and networks.
2.2. Ensure uptime and availability of all IT systems.
2.3. Perform regular system backups and data recovery processes.
3. Software and Hardware Management:
3.1. Install, configure, and update hardware and software.
3.2. Coordinate with vendors for equipment procurement and maintenance.
3.3. Maintain inventory of IT equipment and software licenses.
4. Network Administration:
4.1. Manage LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi networks.
4.2. Monitor network performance and optimize connectivity.
4.3. Implement and maintain firewalls, VPNs, and other security measures.
5. Data Security and Compliance:
5.1. Ensure the organization's IT systems comply with relevant policies and regulations.
5.2. Protect data integrity and security through proper safeguards.
5.3. Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
6. Project Management:
6.1. Assist in IT-related projects, such as system upgrades or migrations.
6.2. Evaluate and recommend new technologies for adoption.
7. Documentation and Reporting:
7.1. Maintain detailed records of IT operations, issues, and resolutions.
7.2. Generate reports on system performance and usage.
Preferred candidate profile
1. Technical Skills:
1.1. Proficiency in operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux).
1.2. Strong knowledge of networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
1.3. Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Workspace).
1.4. Hands-on experience with IT management tools and software.
2. Soft Skills:
2.1. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
2.2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
2.3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
3. Education and Experience:
3.1. Any Graduate with related field.
3.2. Relevant certifications (e.g., A+,N+, CCNA, Microsoft).
3.3. Experience in a similar role (1-3 years preferred).
