Engineering Manager - Android Development (10-15 yrs)

What would you be doing/ Expected from this role ?

- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Android engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

- Oversee the technical design and development of Android applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.

- Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams to define and prioritize features and projects.

- Implement best practices in software development, testing, and delivery, including code reviews, design patterns, and Agile methodologies.

- Drive the Android team's technical strategy, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and alignment with company goals.

- Ensure the team adheres to high coding standards and contributes to unit, integration, and UI testing frameworks.

Who are we looking for?

- Expertise in Kotlin and Java.

- Deep understanding of Android SDK, Jetpack libraries, architectural patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVP), and dependency injection frameworks like Dagger/Hilt.

- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and backend integration.

- Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., Espresso, JUnit) and performance optimization.

- Experience in integrating analytics platforms like Firebase monitoring tools.
