Solution Engineer - SQL/Python (1-4 yrs)

Solution Engineer :

Solution Engineers design and develop technical solutions tailored to customer requirements. This requires them to excel in technical expertise, problem solving while developing sufficient knowledge of the customer and their business domain. Communication, collaboration and attention to detail are key attributes.

Responsibilities :

- Understand from the Sales team on Pitch they envision to articulate our product's value prop effectively.

- Research the prospect and the domain to inform the contextual demo that needs to be prepared

- Discuss and help finalize a Proof of Value use case with prospect's data in their environment for best demonstration of value that can be used as decision criterion for adopting our product.

- Independently develop, document, deploy and maintain product demos that conveys the product benefits, capabilities, and differentiation to build contextual demo for prospects.

- Generate synthetic data that tell the story of the product around data quality, lineage, profiling, analysis and a business use case.

- Continuously enhance the narrative to meet business requirements and show the product's fitment into client's environment

- Create artifacts that accompany a product demo - proposed storylines for demo, suggest ways to showcase business value to potential clients, slides - to increase the effectiveness of demos.

- Conduct tech and competition analysis and then present to the Sales team to accelerate their preparedness for the various pursuit.

- Engage with the product management and platform engineering on product's benefits, capabilities, usability differentiation, competitive comparison.

Skills :

- Coding on Python, Spark, SQL

- Data modelling and analysis

- Exposure to Postgres, MongoDB, BigQuery

- Exposure to at least one among AWS, Azure and GCP

- Comfort executive presentations and giving demo

The Solution Engineering team serves as the technical backbone and strategic enabler within the organization, working closely with Sales, Product, and Platform Engineering teams to ensure that customer needs are met with precision and innovation.

This team is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering tailored technical solutions that align with the business goals of clients, showcasing the product's capabilities through customized demos, proof of value (PoV) cases, and basic competitive/collaboration analysis. The team brings together technical expertise, data expertise, customer insights, product thinking, and problem-solving acumen to create compelling value propositions.
