Assistant Manager - Product & Technical Services - Electric Vehicle Charger Product Portfolio (5-6 yrs)

Job Summary :

- We seek a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Manager and product and Technical Services professional to join our team and take charge of the Electric Vehicle (EV) Charger product portfolio.

- In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of EV charging solutions, from conceptualization and development to technical services and customer support.

- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful development of EV chargers and provide technical expertise to address operational challenges.

Key Responsibilities :

Product Management:

- Product Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and implement the product strategy, roadmap, and vision for EV chargers aligned with market trends, customer needs, and technological advancements.

- Market Research & Competitive Analysis: Conduct detailed market research, including competitor analysis, customer needs, and emerging trends in the EV charging space to inform product decisions.

- Product Development: Work closely with engineering and R&D teams to manage the product development cycle from concept to launch, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and performance standards.

- Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the entire lifecycle of EV chargers, including version upgrades, new product development, and end-of-life (EOL) planning.

- Customer Insights: Gather and analyze customer feedback and data to improve product features and drive product innovations.

Technical Services:

- Technical Training: Develop and conduct technical training for internal teams, clients, and external partners to ensure proper understanding and operation of EV charging products.

- Issue Resolution & Troubleshooting: Act as a technical escalation point for troubleshooting complex issues related to charger performance, connectivity, and customer usage.

- Service Level Agreements (SLA) Management: Ensure adherence to SLAs for maintenance, technical support, and repairs, and work to continuously improve service delivery standards.

- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, user manuals, and installation guides for EV chargers.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

- Collaboration with Sales & Marketing: Partner with sales and marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies, product launch plans, and sales enablement materials to promote

EV charging solutions.

- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key internal and external stakeholders to communicate product updates, gather requirements, and align business objectives with product features.

- Customer Relationship Management: Work closely with key clients to understand their technical needs, manage -expectations, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Qualifications:

Experience:

- 5+ years of experience in product management and/or technical services roles, preferably within the electric vehicle, renewable energy, or automotive sectors.

- Strong experience in managing technical products and providing technical support or services.

Technical Expertise:

- In-depth understanding of EV charging technologies, electrical systems, and the associated infrastructure (e. , AC/DC chargers, communication protocols, power management).

- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations (e. , IEC, UL, ISO).

- Project Management: Experience managing large-scale technical projects, from concept to execution, with a focus on delivering high-quality products and services.

- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical problems in high-pressure environments.

- Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

- Leadership: Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage relationships with external clients.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience working with EV charging networks, smart grid technology, or IoT-enabled devices.

- Knowledge of cloud-based software solutions and integration of hardware with cloud platforms.

- Familiarity with data analytics tools and techniques for product performance evaluation.
