Quantity Surveyor in Hyderabad

We are searching for an experienced QS (Quantity Surveyor) to oversee our estimating department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost estimation, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness in our bids. You will work closely with various teams to assess project requirements, develop detailed cost forecasts, and support the overall strategic bidding process. This role is crucial in maintaining our market leadership and requires a proactive, detail-oriented approach to manage the complexities of manufacturing cost components. Role & responsibilities

• Lead the estimating team to prepare precise cost estimates by analyzing proposals and requirements. Understand scope of work to cost. Prepare cost analysis
• Oversee the compilation of necessary documentation to support transparent and accurate bids.
• Collaborate and communicate with Builders, Project Managers, Engineers, and architects to gather all pertinent information for cost preparation.
• Validate cost information from suppliers and subcontractors (tools, manpower etc..) to ensure it meets project demands.
• Review and evaluate cost estimates about the project requirements. Doors, Windows etc. Analyze labour, material, and time requirements for a project.
• Take off quantities from drawings/floor plans when necessary.
• Calculate quantities and costs for materials, labour, timeframes
• Maintain a comprehensive database of current and past project costs to guide future estimates.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and quality standards.
• Provide guidance and training to junior estimators and support staff.
• Participate in project cost review meetings with clients and upper management.
• Continually assess value for the client's investment
• Communicate with Builders and team members regarding new and current projects.
