We are looking for a Business Analyst having good experience in the BFSI domain with knowledge of Good to have - knowledge on digital applications.
Technical Skills :
- Minimum 3-4 years' experience in BFSI domain and integration with periphery systems, Portals, Mobility etc.
- Thorough knowledge of Insurance, and Finance Domain will be preferred.
- Demonstrated fluency in business processes and process differentiation.
- Understanding of end to end processes life cycle and work as a product owner to handle bespoke applications.
- Understanding of Indices, fundamentals and analytical data, returns level data etc.
- Strong in documentations (i.e. BRD/BSS, Test Plan, Status update etc.)
- Support and align efforts to meet customer and business needs
- Manage customer relationships and expectations by developing a communication process to keep others up to date on project results
- Lead or participate in multiple projects by completing and updating project documentation; managing project scope; adjusting schedules when necessary; determining daily priorities; ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of project tasks and milestones; following proper escalation paths; and managing customer and supplier relationships
- Provide project level analysis - producing required project analysis documentation (business requirements, scope matrix, UAT plan etc.)
- Collaborate closely with developers to implement the requirements, provide necessary guidance to testers during QA process
- Identify improvement opportunities (proactive and reactive)
- Elicit and clearly document business and systems requirements
- Serve as a liaison between all the stakeholders to assist or gather business requirements needed for system modifications, enhancement and implementations
- Create and maintain issue logs, meeting minutes, meeting schedules, project summaries and updates.
- Meet with project team regularly to review project deliverables and deadlines
- Review & execute UAT test cases
- Manage Triage calls for defects resolutions (between Developer, Testers, Users and other stakeholders or owners as applicable)
- Good to have - knowledge of creating BRD, RFC.
Process Skills :
- Assess business process and system inefficiencies.
- Demonstrated fluency in business processes and process differentiation.
- Ability to analyze and synthesize business requirements, including recognizing patterns and conceptualizing processes.
- Understand and negotiate needs and expectations of multiple stakeholders.
- Serve as a liaison between all the stakeholders to assist or gather business requirements needed for system modifications, enhancement, and implementations.
- Support system conversions, upgrades, enhancements.
- Participate in Knowledge Management.
- Perform other tasks as determined by Project Leader/Reporting Manager.
Behavioral Skills :
- Resolve technical issues of projects and explore alternate designs.
- Participates as a team member and fosters teamwork by inter-group coordination within the modules of the project.
- Effectively collaborates and communicates with the stakeholders and ensure client satisfaction.
- Train and coach members of project groups to ensure effective knowledge management activity.
