Job Purpose: The Assistant Manager Finance for Airline Catering will oversee and support various financial functions, including business reporting, payroll processing, billing query resolution, budgeting, and system management. This role is essential for ensuring smooth financial operations, coordinating with both internal teams and external stakeholders, and maintaining compliance with financial procedures. The Assistant Manager will also provide training and guidance to the finance team and report directly to the Chief Accountant.

Job Description:

• Compile and consolidate daily business reports from various units and present them to the management.
• Ensure reports are accurate and provide insights for decision-making.
• Process salaries for employees, ensuring all statutory deductions and other relevant deductions are accurately applied.
• Disburse the deducted amounts to appropriate funds, tax authorities, and other entities as per regulations.
• Address and resolve billing queries from airlines, liaising with assistants for information and action.
• Implement changes to billing procedures as per client requirements to ensure satisfaction
• Collaborate with software vendors to manage any system-related issues, changes, or updates required.
• Ensure the systems are functioning efficiently for financial operations.
• Provide training to executives and assistants on financial processes, system updates, and any changes in procedures.
• Ensure team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively
• Support the Chief Accountant in any additional tasks or special projects as required.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Expecting a Qualified Chartered Accountant
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in finance, with exposure to payroll, budgeting, and billing in an airline catering or related industry.
• Strong understanding of financial software and reporting systems.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Language Proficiency

Should be fluent in English, Marathi and Hindi.

• MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Tally

Travel

Should be flexible to move within the company according to requirement and for personal growth.
