What you will be doing :

- Participating daily standups and working in a 2 week agile sprint cycle.

- Developing code that promotes reuse, is well structured, intentional in design, and is easy to maintain that addresses project specifications and guidelines.

- Working on smaller, moderately complex projects that typically require a singular area of expertise but may work on more complex projects as a member of a project team.

- Appropriately applying the software development life cycle and providing input on programming or development standards.

- Writing database queries and required table definition modifications.

- Actively participating in code reviews and providing feedback on the code of other software engineers.

- Analyzing existing programs and modifying the application code to create enhancements.

- Reviewing requirements and determining gaps or missing elements in system, process and/or functional requirements.

- Writing moderate level technical documentation and reviewing code of junior software engineers.

- Implementing unit tests and performing appropriate debugging to ensure requirements are satisfied.

- Estimating work efforts for scrum backlogs.

- Partnering with all stakeholders to identify potential slippage or inter-team dependencies.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in or the equivalent in relevant work experience.

- 6+ years of experience working in an Agile and/or iterative development environment.

- Extensive knowledge and ability to apply OOD (in .NET C#, HTML, JavaScript, Design Patterns) and impact to the software engineering process.

- A good understanding of web services.

- Experience using GIT in the development workflow.

- Knowledge of web development methodologies (primarily Agile/Scrum), application design, navigation, and information architecture.

- Basic database design and query language (SQL) knowledge.

- Ability to develop and define requirements and functional specifications for applications.

- Must have the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and collaboration, supporting company leadership and other team members.

- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining composure and professionalism in an interrupt-driven environment.

- Experience working in an entrepreneurial company/environment.

- Pair Programming experience.

- Excellent written and verbal communication.
