Job Description
As a Power BI Developer & Cost Analyst, you will be responsible for developing interactive data visualizations, reports, and dashboards using Power BI. This role requires a deep understanding of data structures, financial reporting, and the ability to transform raw data into actionable insights.
1. Transform raw data into clean, understandable datasets for efficient reporting in Power BI. 2. Design and optimize data models, DAX measures, and relationships to boost report performance. 3. Develop visually appealing and user-friendly reports and dashboards that effectively communicate key financial insights. 4. Maintain and update Power BI reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making. 5. Assist in the development and maintenance of ETL processes for optimal data extraction, transformation, and loading. 6. Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and understand their data visualization needs. 7. Ensure data security and compliance in coordination with the IT department. 8. Keep up-to-date with the latest developments and features in Power BI and other BI tools to continuously enhance reporting capabilities. 9. Integrate various financial software like SAP, Clearstory, and Salesforce with Power BI for generating insightful financial reports.
Proficient in Power BI Desktop, Power Query, DAX, and Power BI Service. In-depth knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and SQL. Experience in financial reporting and familiarity with finance-related terminology. Strong skills in data visualization and an eye for detail. Advanced problem-solving and analytical abilities. Experience in integrating financial systems (SAP, Clearstory, Salesforce) with Power BI. Knowledgeable in Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps, and Excel Power Query. Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and BI tools like Tableau or QlikView is desirable.
