Investment Banking Role - Deals Origination - Technology Firm (5-8 yrs)

Responsibilities:

1. Deal Sourcing & Network Building- Identify acquisition targets in the assigned sector (Technology, Tech enabled, IT) and develop a robust network with industry contacts to source deals.

2. Sector-Specific Market Research & Analysis- Conduct in-depth research on sector trends, target companies, and growth opportunities within the assigned sector.- Evaluate financial viability, market positioning, and risk factors for potential deals.

3. Deal Structuring & Negotiation- Perform financial modeling, due diligence, and negotiate deal terms.- Prepare and present sector-specific investment cases to senior management.

4. Relationship Management- Establish and manage relationships with sector stakeholders, including founders, industry leaders, and investors.

5.Cross-functional Collaboration- Coordinate with legal, finance, and investment teams to oversee due diligence, valuation, and deal closing.

6. Pipeline Management- Maintain and track a pipeline of potential deals within the sector, ensuring timely follow-up and progression through the deal cycle.

Requirements:

- Education: CA/ PG/ Bachelor's in Finance, Business, or relevant field (MBA/CFA preferred)

- Experience: Min 5/6 years in deal origination, M&A, or investment banking within the specific sector - Technology

- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of sector-specific dynamics, trends, and key players.

- Skills: Financial modeling, negotiation, and strong analytical skills.

- Communication: Excellent presentation and relationship-building skills.

- Project Management: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple deals simultaneously.
