Site HR Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Site HR Manager to lead and manage all human resource functions at our project site. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the construction, oil & gas, refinery, or infrastructure sectors, ensuring effective HR operations, compliance, and employee engagement in challenging site environments.

HR Operations:

• Handle end-to-end HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and employee record management at the site.
• Manage attendance, leave, and timekeeping systems specific to site operations.
• Support project mobilization and demobilization by coordinating workforce management.

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning:

• Collaborate with project teams to forecast manpower needs and ensure timely recruitment.
• Manage the deployment of skilled and unskilled labor while ensuring compliance with contractual terms.

Employee Relations & Engagement:

• Act as the primary point of contact for site employees to address grievances and resolve issues promptly.
• Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture in alignment with company values.
• Organize welfare and engagement activities tailored to site-specific needs.

Compliance & Policies:

• Ensure compliance with labor laws, safety regulations, and company policies at the site.
• Maintain updated records for audits and inspections, including statutory compliance documentation.

Training & Development:

• Conduct regular training sessions for site employees on health, safety, and behavioral aspects.
• Identify skill gaps and recommend upskilling programs to enhance productivity.

Coordination with HO (Head Office):

• Provide regular reports on HR metrics, including employee turnover, absenteeism, and engagement.
• Liaise with corporate HR and project management teams to ensure alignment of HR practices.

Qualifications

• Education: Any Graduate , MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent qualification.
• Experience: 7 to 10 years of HR experience, preferably in construction, oil & gas, refinery, or infrastructure sectors.
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of labor laws, statutory compliance, and industrial relations.
• Proven ability to manage HR operations in remote or site-based locations.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in HRMS tools and MS Office Suite.
• Adaptability to work in challenging and fast-paced site environments.
