Sr. Quality Analyst

Role & responsibilities :

Planning and Ownership
• Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems.
• Risks review and reporting on time.
• Prepare the Test Plan document.
• Review the test cases and scenarios.
• Mentor/oversee the team and their activity whenever required.
• Provide the application/sprint demonstration.
• Contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives within the department.
Task Management
• Provide feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality.
• Analyze the requirement and document it.
• Design test case, test data and test run as per the test plan.
• Provide accurate testing efforts based on the requirements.
• Identify, document, and retest the defects. Assess the impact of the fixes or implementations.
• Participate in Agile ways of working or defined SDLC.
• Perform test execution as per strategy like Regression, Smoke, Sanity etc.
• Perform Functional, UI and End-to-End testing.
• Perform compatibility testing per the scoped browsers and devices.
• Perform integration or third-party testing.
• Work with the Development team to achieve the common delivery goal.
• Communicate the status with the stakeholders.
• Help support with issue troubleshooting.
• Adhere to the defined QA processes, tools, and guidelines.
Reporting
• Generate the reports for test runs and defects.
• Provide the application/sprint Demonstration.
• Share Sprint Test Summary Report

Preferred candidate profile :

Must-Have Skills
• 4-9 years of experience with software testing of web-based applications.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
• Experience in cross-browser testing with a good understanding of browser technologies.
• Experience with test scenario identification, test case writing, prioritization, and reporting.
• Good knowledge of various quality gates and risk-based testing.

Good to Have Skills
• Good understanding of the eCommerce domain.
• Experience on platforms like Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Big Commerce, Shopify or similar.
• Knowledge of automation testing on Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Knowledge of API, Application Security, Web Performance, or Accessibility testing.
• Exposure to tools JMeter, WebPageTest, BrowserStack, JIRA or similar.
