Role Overview:
We are looking for an Assistant Brand Manager: Audit to lead the evaluation, refinement, and enforcement of the visual identity and messaging of our brands. This role will be responsible for conducting brand audits, ensuring consistency across all communication channels, and developing clear brand guidelines that align with the platform and brand theses.
Assistant Manager - Brand Audit - The Ayurveda Experience
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in brand strategy, visual design, and copywriting, with experience in maintaining brand consistency across diverse platforms. They will collaborate with internal teams and at times external partners to ensure our brands remain cohesive, recognizable, and impactful.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Audit & Evaluation:
- Conduct regular brand audits to assess the consistency, effectiveness, and impact of brand visuals and messaging.
- Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and areas for improvement in brand execution across creatives.
- Analyze competitor branding and market trends to provide insights and recommendations.
Visual Identity & Design Standards:
- Ensure the brands' visual identities are consistently applied across all materials and platforms.
- Develop and maintain brand style guides that define clear usage rules for design elements, photography, illustrations, and overall aesthetics.
- Work with designers and content teams to ensure brand visuals align with strategic goal and oversee the correct application of branding guidelines across all assets, including website, landing pages, emails, social media.
Brand Voice & Copy Guidelines:
- Define and refine brand voice and tone to ensure consistency in all written communications, covering messaging style, tone, terminology, and key brand phrases.
- Audit marketing and customer-facing content to ensure alignment with brand messaging.
- Work closely with content creators, marketers, and external partners to maintain consistent messaging.
Internal & External Brand Training:
- Educate employees and partners on brand guidelines and best practices.
- Develop training materials and conduct workshops to ensure teams understand and apply brand standards.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to teams responsible for content creation and execution.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Branding, Design, Communications, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in brand management, design, or copywriting with a strong understanding of branding principles.
- Expertise in visual design principles, typography, color theory, and layout. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator is a must.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with experience in developing brand messaging and copy guidelines.
- Experience in conducting brand audits and implementing brand strategy improvements will be an added advantage.
Preferred:
- Experience in working on brand identity
- Knowledge of design principles and digital branding
- Familiarity with marketing analytics to measure brand performance.
