Roles and Responsibilities

• Responsible for allotment of rooms to the students.
• Responsible for maintenance of the hostels.
• Looks after the quality of food served in the hostels.
• Keeps strict discipline among students of the hostels.
• Reports to the School authority in case of any indiscipline or misbehaviour by the students.
• Looks into the grievances/complaints of the students .
• Arranges for first-aid in case of any emergency and arrange for hospitalization of student/staff, if required
• Providing ideal care by way, counselling and high standards of safety and liability in the hostel.
• To facilitate their holistic development physical, mental, and intellectual
• Ensure safety and security of all boarders at all times.
• To ensure maintenance of discipline in and around the Hostel
• To ensure that no ragging takes place in the hostels and maintain a ragging free Hostel.
• To ensure housekeeping and cleaning of the premises
• Ensure no damage to the hostel furniture and fittings and timely repair and maintenance of the hostel block
• Responsible for addressing medical/social and personal emergencies of all students. Accompany students to the hospital in case of serious illness or injury.
• Be a point of contact with parents, who are kept informed by reports and informal contact
• To ensure that the caretakers are reporting in time and doing the assigned duties
• Pursuing the additional responsibilities allotted by Management/Principal

Candidate Requirement

• The candidate must be a graduate in any discipline with fluency in Hindi and English, verbal as well as written.
• The candidate must have an experience of around 5 yrs.
• This is not a conventional 9 to 5 role and will require someone with a very flexible approach to the tasks involved, in order to embrace the full scope of the role.
• Should have the required motivation in handling the day-to-day affairs of hostel residents.
• Must be a team player / good communicator.
• Flexible and willing to work at odd hours as and when required.
