Job Description
- Be the lead QA and establish the foundation for our testing processes and culture.
- Collaborate with the engineering and product teams to understand requirements, identify test scenarios, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Identify, document, and track bugs, and work with developers to ensure timely resolution.
- Advocate for quality throughout the development lifecycle, ensuring testing is integrated early and often.
- Work closely with the product team to understand user needs and ensure the product meets customer expectations.
- Evaluate and implement testing tools and frameworks to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Mentor future QA team members as the team grows, sharing your knowledge and expertise.
- Continuously improve QA processes and contribute to a culture of quality across the organization.
What We re Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in software testing/QA, with a strong understanding of testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with both manual and automated testing (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams.
- A proactive, self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
- Bonus points if you have experience.
- Previously worked in a startup or small team environment.
- Experience bBuilding a QA function from scratch.
- Using CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Testing web applications, APIs, or mobile apps.
