Description : As a Supply Chain Manager, you will play a crucial role in customer order management, resource planning and utilization, Optimizing manufacturing process, ensuring efficient vendor management. Your expertise in casting, and machining, will be an added advantage in leading our supply chain management. Key Responsibilities: Possess in-depth knowledge of manufacturing process in metal processing industry – automotive could be an advantage Demonstrate familiarity with suppliers in the specified category and geographies, managing relationships and overseeing multiple vendors simultaneously. Should be well versed with demand forecasting model for different market segments and be able to plan and execute orders. Quarterly capacity planning of inhouse plant & machinery, manpower, material (direct and indirect), outsourced operations. Production planning and control knowledge is a must to plan daily, weekly and monthly schedules based on the scheduled deliveries – have to work towards OTIF @ 100% Should have experience in throughput time reduction strategies and work closely with production department to ensure material flow with minimum variation in planning Should have handled at least 500 SKU’s of finished products and equal amount of inputs, maintaining optimum stock levels to avoid any stock out situation. Should have experience in managing inventory in ERP and ensure stock variance compliance in accordance with industry standards Inbound and outbound logistics cost optimization. Exhibit strong data-driven and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail. Expertise in conducting supplier audits to ensure compliance and quality standards. Well-suited for a start-up environment with a willingness to learn, innovate, take initiatives, and think outside the box. Skills : Accumulated 10-15 years of sourcing experience in automotive manufacturing companies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders. Good knowledge of TPM, TQM & Lean concepts, including familiarity with QC tools and PPAP. Hold a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. Proven record of accomplishment of leading a team effectively. Proficiency in using ERP systems and advanced Excel skills would be considered advantageous for efficient documentation and data analysis processes.
