Job Title: Manager - Purchase & Commercial (Head of Department) (Sr. Manager / AGM)

Job Location: Anna Nagar East, Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

Educational Qualification: Any Engineering Graduate B.E / B. Tech Mechanical / Any Graduate

Experience Required: Minimum 10 Years of Experience in Engineering / Construction Projects / Power Projects / Engineering / Erection & Commissioning.

Desired Candidate Profile: Male Engineering graduate having worked in Engineering / Civil / EPC Projects related to Power, Steel, Gas, Water, Oil or other Erection and Commissioning.

Salary: Gross Salary of up to 9.0 LPA

Responsibilities:

• Sourcing of new suppliers
• To maintain supplier relationship
• Coordinates with Projects Sites for their Requirements.
• Understanding the exact requirements of the Project Sites.
• Check and Monitor on Unwanted purchases, pilferages and control purchases within the budget.
• Possess negotiation, Risk mitigation, Communication, Accuracy skills.
• Developing purchasing strategies
• Maintains accurate purchasing records
• Preparing cost estimates and managing budgets
• Discussing contracts
• Maintain a database of approved suppliers
• Monitors and forecasts inventory levels
• Compliance rate, Inventory control, Cost accounting, Inventory management
• Determine quantity and timing of deliveries
• Devising initiatives to drive procurement performance
• Ensure that purchases meet company criteria
• Train personnel in the project sites on good practices of inventory accounting and control.
