Testing and Commissioning Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Testing and Commissioning Engineer to join our team at a leading Power System Testing company. The ideal candidate will have experience in the testing and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring the safe and reliable operation of power systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform testing and commissioning of power systems, including transformers, switchgear, protection relays, and control systems.
• Execute pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for electrical installations.
• Conduct functional testing, fault analysis, and system troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical support and documentation for project handovers.
• Coordinate with clients and stakeholders for project execution and deliverables.

Key Skills:

• Experience in power system testing, including protection relays and electrical circuits.
• Proficiency with test equipment like Omicron, Megger, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, and protection schemes.
• Familiarity with industry standards such as IEC, IEEE, ANSI, etc.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
