Job Description
We are looking for Botanists who will be responsible for documentation of botanical data and will be doing extensive secondary data mining and field surveys.
Essential Qualification:
- Master s Degree in Botany (Preferred: Angiosperm Taxonomy).
- Proven 1- 2 years of experience in flora identification (trees, shrubs, climbers, lianas, herbs, grasses and sedges).
- Strong taxonomic skills with the ability to identify, classify, and document plant species using botanical nomenclature.
- Knowledge of the local flora, plant communities, and ecosystems in different bio geographical zones.
- Willing to work on field for data collection.
- Excellent data management and analysis skills.
- Familiarity with taxonomic software and databases.
- Good scientific and technical writing skills
- Well versed with MS-Office (Especially MS-Excel).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Good writing skills.
