Job Description

We are looking for Botanists who will be responsible for documentation of botanical data and will be doing extensive secondary data mining and field surveys.

Essential Qualification:

Master s Degree in Botany (Preferred: Angiosperm Taxonomy).
Proven 1- 2 years of experience in flora identification (trees, shrubs, climbers, lianas, herbs, grasses and sedges).
Strong taxonomic skills with the ability to identify, classify, and document plant species using botanical nomenclature.
Knowledge of the local flora, plant communities, and ecosystems in different bio geographical zones.
Willing to work on field for data collection.
Excellent data management and analysis skills.
Familiarity with taxonomic software and databases.
Good scientific and technical writing skills
Well versed with MS-Office (Especially MS-Excel).
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Good writing skills.
