Energy Efficiency Codes, Building Regulations, and Standards: - In-depth knowledge of ECSBC, ECBC, and energy efficiency standards for both commercial and residential buildings. - Familiarity with integrating ECSBC norms into state-level building bye-laws and approval processes, including Schedule of Rates (SoR). - Understanding of state/UT-specific regulations and urban planning policies.

Data Analysis, Reporting, and Documentation: - Proficient in analyzing data for existing and upcoming building projects. - Skilled in preparing detailed reports, manuals, and techno-commercial feasibility documents. - Capable of creating educational materials, including FAQs and compliance guides.
3. Project Coordination and Stakeholder Engagement: - Strong experience in collaborating with SDAs, BEE, ULBs, and municipal corporations. - Proficient in forming high-level committees for policy implementation and addressing compliance challenges.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Work Plan & Stakeholder Coordination: - Facilitate acceptance of work plans by BEE/SDA and coordinate with stakeholders for the implementation of ECSBC-Commercial & Residential (ENS) in the State/UT. - Propose and support the formation of a High-Level Committee for energy efficiency and sustainability in buildings. 2. Draft Submission & Compliance: - Prepare and submit drafts for the notification and enforcement of ECSBC norms and their integration into building bye-laws. - Coordinate with relevant authorities to support the integration of ECSBC directives into building approval processes.
3. Building Compliance & Monitoring: - Monitor compliance of building projects with ECSBC-Commercial & Residential (ENS) norms, including ongoing and upcoming projects. - Provide technical support for energy audits, design simulations, and achieving ECBC & ENS compliance.
4. Documentation & Reporting: - Submit regular progress reports to SDA and BEE. - Support the preparation of manuals and documents on compliance procedures, along with feasibility reports and updates on projects.
5. Training & Certification Support: - Coordinate training programs and assist in facilitating the Star Rating and Shunya Labelling certification processes for energy-efficient buildings.

Essential Criteria:
1. Education: - Bachelor-s Degree (Regular- Full-Time) in Architecture or Planning from a recognized University or Institute.
2. Experience: - Minimum of 6 years (excluding internships) of professional experience in roles related to Building Energy Efficiency Policies and associated responsibilities.
3. Knowledge and Skills: - Strong understanding of sustainable architecture and urban planning principles. - Knowledge of building energy codes- green building certifications- and energy efficiency best practices. - Proven ability to manage projects and collaborate with diverse stakeholders. - Proficiency in the local language of the project location is essential for effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
Desirable Criteria:
1. Education: - Master-s Degree in Engineering- Energy- Management- Building Science- or a related field from a recognized University or Institute. - Postgraduate studies (full-time enrollment) or equivalent professional experience will be considered.
2. Certifications: - Professional certifications such as ECBC Master Trainer- GRIHA CP- Evaluator & Trainer- LEED AP- IGBC AP- or CMVP are highly desirable.
