Data Scientist

Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a motivated Junior Data Scientist to join our team. You will work closely with senior data scientists and analysts to gather, process, and analyze data, helping to drive business decisions. This role is ideal for someone with a strong analytical background, an interest in data science, and a desire to learn and grow in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources to ensure data quality.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Assist in building and deploying machine learning models.
• Work with structured and unstructured data to extract valuable insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and provide actionable insights.
• Generate reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies
• 3+ years of experience in data science

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of data science concepts and machine learning algorithms.
• Proficiency in Python, R, or another programming language commonly used in data science.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib).
• Familiarity with SQL and database management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• Internship experience in a data-related role.
• Exposure to with a variety of data science frameworks, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn
