Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives
- Lead procurement processes, including supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management
- Manage supplier relationships and conduct performance evaluations
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost reduction initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address procurement needs
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, regulations, and ethical standards
- Analyze market trends and industry developments to inform procurement decisions
- Oversee the procurement of goods and services to meet quality and timeline requirements
- Monitor and report on key procurement metrics and performance indicators
- Lead and mentor the procurement team to achieve departmental goals
- Contribute to the development and improvement of procurement processes and systems
- Manage and resolve any procurement-related issues or disputes
- Participate in supplier diversity and sustainability initiatives
- Collaborate with finance and legal departments on procurement-related matters
- Stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in procurement
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or relevant field
- Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management
- Strong understanding of procurement principles, practices, and procedures
- Excellent negotiation and contract management skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute procurement strategies
- Proficiency in analyzing data and market trends to make informed procurement decisions
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
- Leadership experience and the ability to mentor and develop a procurement team
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in procurement
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with procurement software and tools
- Certification in procurement or supply chain management is a plus
- Proven track record of driving cost-saving initiatives and process improvements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- High level of integrity and ethical conduct in procurement practices
