We are on the lookout for a Senior Embedded Test Automation Engineer with a passion for testing and automation in embedded systems. If you have a strong background in Python-based test automation frameworks and a keen eye for detail, this is the perfect opportunity for you. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our embedded solutions by designing and implementing automation scripts and testing processes.

What You'll Do :

- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and automation scripts to validate embedded systems.

- Create and maintain automation frameworks using Python and tools like Robot Framework or Cucumber.

- Collaborate with software and hardware teams to ensure thorough testing coverage.

- Perform functional, system, regression, and integration testing to ensure software quality.

- Investigate and debug software and hardware issues encountered during testing.

- Utilize DLT (Diagnostic Log and Trace) and other log analysis tools to troubleshoot and identify defects.

- Continuously refine test automation frameworks and integrate them with CI/CD pipelines.

- Manage test scripts and test data using Git and other version control systems.

- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

- Contribute to improving testing strategies, methodologies, and best practices.

What You Bring :

- 9+ years of experience in embedded systems testing and automation.

- Strong expertise in Python for automation scripting.

- Experience with Robot Framework or Cucumber for test automation.

- A deep understanding of embedded systems architecture and hardware-software integration.

- Knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and industry best practices.

- Experience working with Git and version control systems.

- Familiarity with CI/CD processes and integrating automated tests into build pipelines.

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging abilities.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.

- Experience with hardware testing or real-time embedded systems.

- Proficiency in analyzing logs using DLT or similar tools.

- Hands-on experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Bonus Points for :

- Experience with HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) and SIL (Software-in-the-Loop) testing.

- Familiarity with communication protocols like CAN, SPI, I2C, UART, and LIN.

- Experience with dSPACE tools for hardware-in-the-loop testing.

- Understanding of ISO 26262 and other safety-critical testing standards.
