Job Title : Lead Embedded Software Engineer

Location : Chennai/ Bangalore

Experience : 5 to 12+ years

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and Development : Develop high-quality embedded software solutions tailored for infotainment systems, ensuring seamless integration with the underlying OS and hardware.

- Prototyping : Build quick proof-of-concept solutions and scale them to production-grade implementations.

- Leadership : Lead, manage, and mentor a team of engineers, fostering their technical growth and guiding them in solution development.

- Hands-on Contribution : Take a hands-on approach to coding and lead by example, following best practices in software development and CI/CD methodologies.

- Agile Development : Operate in a highly iterative Agile (Scrum) environment, delivering significant functionality in each sprint.

- Collaboration : Work collaboratively in a diverse team environment to deliver customer-focused features.

- End-to-End Ownership : Own the delivery of features from concept to production, ensuring quality, performance, and reliability.

- Product Collaboration : Work closely with product owners to shape and deliver features that meet customer needs.

Technical Skills :

- Hands-on experience with Linux OS, Linux Kernel, and Linux device drivers.

- Solid understanding of audio concepts (e.g., codecs, streaming formats, multimedia connectivity).

- Experience with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth system integration.

- Proficiency in RPC frameworks, such as gRPC and Cap'n Proto.

- Knowledge of non-functional aspects such as performance, security, and reliability.

- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.

- Strong debugging, profiling, and performance optimization skills.

Soft Skills :

- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members, leadership, and product owners.

- Adaptability to a fast-paced Agile/Scrum development environment.
