Android Framework Developer - C++/Java/Kotlin (4-8 yrs)

Job Role: Android Middleware / Framework Developer

Experience: 4 to 8 Years

Location: Bangalore

Key Requirements :

- Strong experience in AOSP, Android framework, and services (e.g., Multimedia, Camera).

- Proficiency in Android HAL, Android graphics pipeline, DRM, and Codecs.

- Experience with Linux Kernel configurations to enable Android containers and VM-based solutions.

- Solid understanding of Hardware Abstraction Layers (HAL) in Android and/or Linux.

- Programming skills in C/C++, Java/Kotlin, and Linux.

- Knowledge of Git and familiarity with CI/CD workflows.

- Agile project experience is a plus.

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities :

- Design and develop Android framework interfaces and services running on Linux containers.

- Customize Android layers (e.g., audio, video, graphics, camera) and integrate them with head unit

applications.

- Collaborate with user design teams to translate product-based design concepts into development.

- Work closely with multi-location teams and product owners to deliver customer-centric Android app

integration for automotive multimedia.

- Learn and adapt to both Embedded Android and Linux technologies to enable full-stack Android development.
