Job Description :

We are seeking a seasoned Power BI Architect and Visualization Expert with a strong background in Power BI architecture, infrastructure setup, advanced data visualization, and optimization using the Azure tech stack.

The ideal candidate will independently guide and advise on Power BI setup, work with Microsoft support for infrastructure issues, and deliver top-tier visualization solutions.

Required Skills :

- Power BI Expertise : In-depth knowledge of Power BI dashboards, reports, and all visualization types.

- Azure Tech Stack : Proficiency in leveraging Azure for data visualization and embedding.

- Performance Tuning : Advanced knowledge in optimizing Power BI performance and infrastructure.

- Data Modeling : Strong expertise in data modeling and ingestion techniques.

- SSAS Cubes : Experience in utilizing SSAS cubes for Power BI reporting.

- Client Communication : Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

- Business Analysis : Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

- Data Analysis : Skilled in analyzing and interpreting data to deliver actionable insights.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Certifications in Power BI or Azure-related technologies.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and implement robust Power BI architectures, including data sources, data pipelines, and data models.

- Design and oversee the setup and configuration of Power BI environments, including on-premises and cloud-based deployments.

- Work closely with Microsoft support to resolve infrastructure and performance issues.

- Optimize Power BI performance through advanced techniques such as data reduction, query optimization, and caching mechanisms.

- Design and develop visually appealing and interactive dashboards and reports that effectively communicate complex data insights to business users.

- Leverage the full spectrum of Power BI visualization capabilities to create compelling and insightful data stories. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness across all visualizations.

- Develop and implement efficient data models, including star schema, snowflake schema, and other relevant techniques.

- Design and implement data ingestion pipelines using various sources, including databases, data warehouses, and cloud data platforms.

- Leverage SSAS cubes for enhanced performance and scalability of Power BI reports.

- Design and implement data models optimized for SSAS cube processing and consumption.

- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into effective and actionable Power BI solutions.

- Effectively communicate technical concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Provide expert guidance and support to business users on data analysis and interpretation.

- Continuously research and evaluate new Power BI features, best practices, and industry trends.

- Proactively identify opportunities to improve data visualization and reporting capabilities.
