Job Description

• Jenkins

1. Installing Jenkins from scratch with or without web servers eg apache tomcat, nginx, jetty
2. version upgrade,plugin management, applying security fixes for vulnerabilities.
3. Designing HA and DR on cloud (aws) side for Jenkins or any other DevOps tools.
4. Good Understanding on Security compliance.
5. Good Understanding on recommending best practices.
6. Knowledge on troubleshooting and applying fixes on various infra level issues and challenges.
7. Good understanding of CICD
8. Strong/Good knowledge on aws cloud to host Jenkins or equivalent devops tools.
9. Strong knowledge on cloud Load balancing and Auto scaling group concepts.
10. Strong linux administration knowledge.

• Kubernetes:

1. Strong knowledge on kubernetes concepts (service, ingress, configmap, volume etc)
2. Understanding of k8s infra components
3. Hands on experience on creating cluster, pod
4. Full understanding of writing deployment file
5. Hands on experience on deploying/hosting simple application on k8s. monitoring and knowledge on helm package.
6. k8s - sc, pv, pvc
