Role: Security Specialist

Location: Offshore

Job Summary

♣ 10+ years of IT experience in IT Security

♣ This role requires a strong understanding of Microsoft Azure, Azure AD (Active Directory), PIM, PKI, and cloud security best practices. The candidate will work implement and manage security controls for cloud-based applications and systems.

Technical Skills:

Azure Cloud Management

♣ Lead and manage the implementation, and management of Azure cloud solutions.

♣ Administer and Manage Azure-based cloud solutions ensuring scalability, performance, and security.

♣ Administer and support Azure cloud environments, ensuring availability, security, and compliance.

♣ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy secure cloud applications and solutions.

Privileged Identity Management (PIM)

♣ Configure and manage Azure AD PIM to control, monitor, and audit privileged access within Azure environments.

♣ Implement Just-In-Time (JIT) access and approvals for administrative roles and resources.

♣ Manage and monitor privileged roles, access reviews, and ing for suspicious activities.

♣ Conduct periodic security reviews and audits to ensure compliance with organizational policies.

Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)

♣ Implement, and maintain PKI solutions for the organization, including certificate authority management and the deployment of digital certificates.

♣ Manage the lifecycle of certificates for authentication, encryption, and signing.

♣ Integrate Azure AD and PKI solutions to strengthen security for identity management and access control.

♣ Troubleshoot PKI-related issues and ensure the security of communications and authentication protocols in the cloud.

Security and Compliance

♣ Ensure adherence to security policies and industry best practices in the management of privileged identities and PKI.

♣ Develop and implement strategies to prevent unauthorized access and mitigate security risks.

♣ Monitor and report on security incidents related to privileged identities and certificates.

Skills

• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services (e.g., Azure Active Directory, Azure Virtual Machines, Storage, Networking).
• Proven expertise with Azure AD Privileged Identity Management (PIM), including configuring and managing privileged access roles and access reviews.
• Experience with role-based access control (RBAC) and managing privileged identities in cloud environments.
• Knowledge of security best practices for cloud environments, with a focus on identity and access management (IAM).
• Experience in integrating PKI with cloud-based authentication solutions and enterprise applications.

Education qualification:

Bachelors degree preferably in Computer Science or Information Systems and /or equivalent formal training or work experience.

Certifications Needed:

Certificates in relevant fields are added advantage.
