Site Engineer (Solar)

Job Overview
We are seeking a Site Engineer with at least 1 year of experience in solar power projects to oversee on-site execution of rooftop solar installations. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of solar PV systems, technical expertise, and a focus on quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise on-site execution of solar rooftop projects, ensuring work is completed on time and meets quality standards.
Assist in system design, equipment installation, and performance testing.
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols, environmental guidelines, and project specifications.
Monitor project progress, maintain documentation, and resolve site-level challenges.
Support grid interconnection processes, including net metering and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure optimal installation quality and performance.
Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field).
Minimum 1 year of experience in solar PV projects.
Knowledge of solar PV system design, installation processes, and grid interconnection.
Familiarity with tools like AutoCAD, PVsyst, and MS Office.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Technical Expertise

Basic understanding of solar PV systems and construction practices.
Knowledge of grid regulations, performance testing, and energy yield analysis.
Experience in using project management and technical design tools is a plus.
