Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and talented Entry-Level Android Developer to join our dynamic team. As an Android Developer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of innovative Android applications. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with limited professional experience looking to kickstart their career in mobile app development.
Responsibilities:
- Application Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, test, and deploy high-quality Android applications using Java and Kotlin.
- Code Review and Maintenance: Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to best practices. Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of existing applications.
- Bug Fixing and Optimization: Identify and fix bugs, bottlenecks, and performance issues in the Android applications. Optimize code for efficiency and scalability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with UI/UX designers, product managers, and other team members to translate requirements into functional and user-friendly applications.
- Stay Updated: Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in Android development. Continuously enhance your skills and contribute to the adoption of new tools and techniques within the team.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Programming Languages: Proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages.
- Android Development: Basic understanding of Android app development concepts, architecture, and best practices.
- Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to analyze and debug code effectively.
- Communication: Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Initiative: Proactive and self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow as a developer.
- Portfolio: Any relevant coursework, personal projects, or internship experience related to Android development is a plus. A portfolio showcasing Android apps you\'ve worked on is highly desirable.
