Cloud Network Engineer (L3)

Position: Senior Cloud Network Engineer (L3)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement enterprise and hybrid cloud networks, including core switches, routers, F5 load balancers, wireless solutions, and cloud-native networking services.
• Architect and optimise F5 BIG-IP solutions, including LTM, GTM, ASM, and cloud-based load balancers (e.g., Azure Front Door, AWS Elastic Load Balancer).
• Develop High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents for complex hybrid network projects.
• Create and deliver cloud networking solutions, including VNet peering, VPN gateways, ExpressRoute/Direct Connect, and multi-cloud connectivity.
• Work on presales activities, providing technical solutions, proposals, and POCs for cloud and on-premises projects.
• Implement and optimise security measures using Checkpoint firewalls, cloud firewalls (Azure Firewall, Palo Alto VM-Series), and advanced networking techniques.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and hybrid-cloud connectivity issues, including traffic flow optimization and load balancing challenges.
• Lead end-to-end implementation of on-premises and cloud networking projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timely delivery.
• Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and vendors, demonstrating excellent communication and leadership skills.

Required Skills:

• Expertise in routing & switching (OSPF, BGP, MPLS), enterprise wireless networks, and cloud networking (e.g., Azure Virtual WAN, AWS VPC, GCP Networking).
• Deep knowledge of F5 load balancers (LTM, GTM, ASM, iRules) and application delivery concepts, including integration with cloud load balancers.
• Proficiency in preparing HLDs/LLDs and conducting hybrid network assessments.
• Strong understanding of firewalls, including Checkpoint, cloud-native firewalls, and advanced security practices.
• Familiarity with hybrid-cloud networking protocols and architectures.
• Proven ability to solve complex network and hybrid-cloud issues and deliver scalable solutions.
• Exceptional communication skills for interacting with clients and leading teams.
• CCNP, Azure Networking, Fortinet NSE4 certifications (preferred)
