SP3D Designer (3-5 Years of Experience)

We are seeking an experienced SP3D Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience in using the SP3D design tool for designing piping, structural, and equipment layouts in engineering projects. This role requires a strong understanding of 3D modeling, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and modify 3D models of piping, equipment, and structural layouts using SP3D.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and client requirements to create accurate designs.
• Generate and review isometric drawings, piping plans, and sectional views.
• Collaborate with engineers and other designers to resolve design conflicts and ensure design consistency.
• Perform clash detection and resolve clashes in the 3D environment.
• Ensure designs comply with project standards, codes, and client requirements.
• Update and maintain SP3D model databases throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in design reviews and provide input to improve design efficiency and quality.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in SP3D modeling and design.
• Proficiency in SP3D, AutoCAD, and other relevant design software.
• Knowledge of piping design principles, material specifications, and industry standards (ASME, API, etc.).
• Experience in structural design and equipment layout is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in design.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other 3D design tools SP3D, STAAD
• Familiarity with project workflows in oil & gas, power, or infrastructure sectors.
• Basic understanding of project management principles and document control processes.
