Sr Project Manager - Banking Applications

We are seeking a highly skilled Agile Project Manager with extensive experience managing fixed-bid managed services projects, particularly in the development and delivery of banking applications with a strong focus on protocols and security. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Agile methodologies, banking domain standards, and regulatory compliance, along with the ability to deliver secure, high-quality solutions while managing the complexities of fixed-bid engagements.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end Agile delivery of fixed-bid managed services projects in the banking domain, ensuring adherence to project scope, budget, and timeline.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with banking protocols, security, and compliance standards.
• Manage and oversee project execution, including sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and daily stand-ups using Agile methodologies.
• Identify and mitigate risks proactively, ensuring uninterrupted project progress and issue resolution.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project team to enhance productivity, quality, and overall project efficiency.
• Prepare and deliver project updates, reports, and performance metrics to clients and senior management regularly.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with SLA agreements, regulatory standards, and contractual obligations.
• Oversee change management processes, including creating and managing change orders to meet evolving business needs.
• Monitor project budgets and optimize resource allocation to deliver projects on time and within budget constraints.
• Act as the primary liaison for stakeholders, providing regular updates and aligning project goals with organizational objectives.
• Utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve project challenges and maintain progress.
• Promote accountability, foster a results-driven environment, and encourage continuous improvement within project teams.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years experience as an Agile Project Manager in delivering banking applications, particularly in fixed-bid managed services projects is Must
• Expertise in Agile methodologies, including the ability to lead Agile teams and drive Agile practices effectively.
• Strong capabilities in scope management, risk assessment, and change management processes.
• Proficiency with project management tools, including Gantt charts and scheduling software.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder management and team collaboration.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivering quality outcomes.
• Demonstrated leadership in managing cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration, and driving performance to exceed project goals.
• Proven ability to juggle multiple projects in fast-paced environments, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising on quality.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, adept at translating complex concepts into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences.
• Serve as the central point of contact for clients, ensuring expectations are set and met, and aligning teams to deliver on business objectives.
• PMP, Scrum, and SAFe certifications are a plus, adding credibility to the ability to lead complex projects to success.
