TechnoServe - Consultant - Supply Chain - Food Systems (4-7 yrs)

The Consultant will work with the core program and management teams in India on following key deliverables:

Job Description:

- A detailed supply chain map showing sources of fresh milk and SMP and their degree of integration, including geo-location of collection and chilling centres.

- Assessment of key suppliers' sophistication and capacity for future sustainability programs.

- Provide detailed and accurate supply chain maps.

- Include actionable recommendations for exploring sustainability initiatives with key suppliers.

- Support the reviews and approvals by Donor and TNS Project Lead, and Dairy supply chain lead.

- Research information from relevant stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive and unified approach to mitigate challenges in dairy food system such as sustainable and responsible sourcing of high-quality milk.

- Candidates who are excited about and have experience in management consulting background and/or knowledge in food safety, food and agricultural systems will find this opportunity exciting.

- The candidate should have excellent written and spoken English; Should have experience in supply chain & market mapping with comparable data on Milk procurement, supply chain partners, quantum of supply; experience with detailed market report writing and data analysis.

- The candidate should have experience in related food or agri markets, and demonstrated experience in devising supply chain strategy to support expansion, strategic communication and collaboration with senior stakeholders, including Network Utilization and Distribution Strategy, Supply Chain Planning, Manufacturing and Procurement.

- He/She should be willing to travel to partner locations in Maharashtra and other states as per requirement (70%).
