Design Lead

• Position: Design Lead / Head of Design Department

• Qualification: BE / ME Mechanical.

• Design Software: Expert level skills in Solid Works, AutoCAD especially in

development of Sheet Metal Fabrication projects.

• Experience: Minimum 7 years in sheet metal fabrication industry, preferably from

enclosures and control panel manufacturing set up.

Job Description:

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead and guide the design function from front.

• Responsible for achieving all departmental level KPIs.

• Understanding in detail all direct or indirect enquiries from the customers.

• Assign the design jobs to the team members in the Dept.

• Check and approve all the designs to be released in terms of customers specifications.

• Primarily responsible for all designs released by the department.

• Responsible for accurate inputs to quotations i.e., quantity and quality of material, hardware required, etc.

• Generate detailed design in Solid Works and AutoCAD for critical projects.

• Single point contact for all customer queries pertaining to design and ECR.

• To ensure all ECRs and revision changes are accommodated in the design.

• Attend and address all MOMs.

• Train and guide all team members as and when required.

• Ensure timely delivery of the design from the department.

Candidate Profile: Strong Leader with expert skills in above mentioned design software,

highly proactive, business oriented with strong sense of quality.
