Design Engineer

Role & responsibilities

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and marketing to define product specifications and requirements.

- Create 3D models & 2D drawings and detailed technical drawings using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).

- Perform simulations and analyses to validate designs for performance and durability, including materials selection and prototyping.

- Conduct design reviews and incorporate feedback to enhance functionality and user experience.

- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations during the design process.

- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives in design processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

- Maintain comprehensive documentation of design processes, decisions, and modifications.

- Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation.
