Quality Manager- Low Voltage (LV)

Position: Quality Manager Low Voltage Equipment's (LV)

Role Overview:

As a Quality & Testing Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving the deployment of quality strategies for the manufacturing of Electrical Panels (Low Voltage). Your efforts will focus on cultivating a strong quality culture, implementing robust systems and tools, and fostering a competent team environment. Your work will ensure alignment with customer expectations and sustainable operational excellence while achieving world-class performance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Management and Communication:

• Drive communication initiatives related to quality management within the organization.
• Identify and address risks and opportunities in the quality management process continuously.

Data Analysis and Risk Management:

• Leverage quality data analytics to identify risks, failures, and non-conformances.
• Ensure a proactive approach to resolving quality-related challenges.

Customer Issue Resolution:

• Facilitate customer case resolution by conducting robust root cause analyses and implementing preventive and corrective actions.

Low Voltage Panel Design and Testing:

• Expertise in designing LV control panels, including PCC, IMCC, PMCC, and Drives.
• Familiarity with international standards such as IEC 61439, IEC 60204, and IEC 61921.
• Collaborate with external test labs like CPRI/ERDA for panel testing and test report generation.

Component and Design Selection:

• Select appropriate switchgear, busbars, relay components, and enclosure parts based on application requirements.
• Evaluate and apply standard techniques for selecting components and designing power enclosure panels (e.g., Artu-K).

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

• Conduct QA, CAPA, and quality audits on processes and products.
• Perform reliability tests and handle customer complaints effectively.
• Support SQA and SCM in vendor evaluations.
• Conduct quality checks at vendor premises for LV enclosure parts.

Standard Compliance and Testing:

• Verify and inspect LT panels to ensure compliance with industry standards and type-tested assembly requirements.

Qualifications:

• Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience: 8 to 15 years of experience in QA, QC, and testing of LV switchgears.
• Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies, including CAPA, SPC, Six Sigma, SAP-QM, and Minitab.
• In-depth knowledge of IEC standards and switchgear industry best practices.
• Hands-on experience in planning and performing audits, conducting reliability tests, and handling customer relations.
