Job Title: Civil Engineer (Roads & Highways)

Job Overview:

As a Civil Engineer (Roads & Highways), you will work on projects that involve the widening & strengthening of existing road & highway (earth work, GSB work, WMM Work & all type of Bituminous work). This includes following the designs, overseeing construction activities, and ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.

Role & responsibilities

• Site supervision and surveys to assess the condition of existing roads and highways.
• Coordinate with contractors, track construction progress, and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during construction.
• To prepare daily progress report and quantity/consumption calculation on excel format.
• To receive the material from store and issue to contractor as per work order and material requisition.
• To prepare sub-contractor bills on excel as per work order.
• Certification of bill with the client.
• Analyses and understand traffic patterns to ensure efficient traffic flow and safety.
• Implement traffic control measures, signage, and markings to enhance safety and traffic flow on highways.
• Ensure all project activities comply with design specifications, safety and quality standards, as well as government regulations.
• All other documents required for smooth functioning as per company requirement.

Preferred candidate profile

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Proven experience as per job expectation.
• Strong technical skills, including knowledge in MS Excel.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and communication skills.
