Job Description
- We are seeking a dedicated Performance and Systems Engineer to join our team
- This role is critical in ensuring our platforms high efficiency and reliability, particularly under varying loads
- The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in performance engineering and system analysis, with a strong background in using advanced tools to monitor, analyze, and enhance system performance across both applications and databases
- Implement strategies to optimize the performance of the platform, ensuring it operates efficiently even under high load conditions.
- Conduct rigorous load testing to identify system bottlenecks and potential failure points, using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Set up and manage monitoring solutions using tools such as Prometheus and Grafana to continuously track system performance and health.
- Analyze performance data to identify and resolve bottlenecks in application logic and database performance.
- Adjust system parameters and configurations to improve throughput and reduce latency, ensuring optimal performance.
- Work closely with backend developers, database administrators, and cloud engineers to coordinate performance enhancement strategies.
- Regularly report on performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to the development team and management. Document performance issues and resolutions for future reference.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication abilities to effectively report findings and make recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of system architecture and experience with both applications and database performance tuning.
- Experience with scripting and automation tools is highly desirable.
