Senior / Lead Designer (Offshore Structure)

We are currently seeking a Sr. Designer to join our Structural Offshore team based in Chennai.

About the mission we offer you:

3D modelling of Steel structures (Deck / Topside modules)

Extraction of 2D drawings from 3D model and Preparation of construction drawings including checking errors/mismatches
Incorporation of inter discipline comments and client comments
Coordination with other engineering disciplines for clash resolution/technical issues
Participation in Model Reviews
Material take-offs
Adhere to Corporate QHSE policy.

To ensure clash free models.
Issue of construction drawings with required quality as per project schedules.
Follow up with other disciplines for comment resolution

About you:

We love to hear from you and how you match with this position. To be successful in this mission you should consider the following requirements:

Qualifications: Diploma in Civil Engineering with at least 7 years (or ITI with minimum 10 years) of relevant industry experience

Languages: English - Professional / Fluent

Main skills:

Experience in 2D drawings ( Autocad / Microstation etc.,) and 3D Modeling (PDMS, E3D, etc., )
Experience in extraction of 2D drawings from 3D models.
Shall be well versed with International codes
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English is essential. Ability to foster communication within diverse cultural environments.
