Technical Writer

Responsible for creating and modifying various operation and maintenance manuals as per the project specifications.

Research available technical data including drawings, design reports, equipment, and test specifications.

Able to work/communicate with system engineers to clarify document contents and technical queries.

Should be an Engineering Graduate or AME with 5 or more years of technical writing experience. Having rail/rolling stock domain knowledge is desirable.

Must have experience on authoring tools such as Framemaker and MS Word.

Should be able to perform reviews of the Maintenenace manuals and IPCs.

Should monitor and take necessary actions to maintain and improve the quality of deliverables.

Keep track of the work progress and report.

Good in MS-Excel to make necessary reports. Desirable to have knowledge of developing macros for MS-Excel.

Should be enthusiastic about automation to identify the feasibility of automation in day to day work.
