Job Description
Support Hours - 2. 30pm - 11. 30pm CST (CST overlapping for 4 Hours. )
Core Skills and Competencies:
Required Skills:
- Programming Languages:
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and Python.
- Frontend Development:
- Experience with React, Material UI, and Redux for building dynamic and responsive user interfaces.
- Backend Development:
- Familiarity with building microservices and working with event-driven architectures.
- Databases:
- Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
- Infrastructure as Code:
- Experience with Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
- Testing Frameworks:
- Expertise in testing tools and frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, Jest, and ViTest.
- DevOps and Cloud Deployment:
- Deployment experience on AWS Cloud or Private Cloud using OpenShift.
- Monitoring and Observability:
- Proficient in using Datadog for monitoring, alerting, and logging.
- Agile Methodologies:
- Demonstrated experience working in Agile teams, with practices such as iterative development, daily stand-ups, and sprint planning.
- Version Control and Collaboration Tools:
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and collaboration tools like Azure DevOps (ADO) and Confluence.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Solid understanding of modern software development practices and patterns, especially within micro services and distributed systems.
- Effective communication skills for cross-functional team collaboration.
- Ability to manage and deliver multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Develop and enhance micro services to support the platform.
- Implement features on the React/Material UI frontend.
- Ensure high-quality code through testing with Cypress, Playwright, Jest, and ViTest.
- Collaborate with the team to deploy applications in AWS or Private Cloud (OpenShift).
- Monitor and optimize application performance using Datadog.
- 7+ years of relevant industry experience in a similar tech stack and environment.
- Proven track record of delivering scalable and maintainable applications within Agile teams.
- Location: Remote.
- Duration: Based on project needs.
- Hours: Full-time (40 hours per week) preferred.
