Job Description

Job Purpose:

The Head of Resource Augmentation is responsible for managing and expanding the resource augmentation business unit, including driving strategic initiatives, optimizing operations, and ensuring high-quality delivery of services to clients. The role involves managing a pool of skilled professionals, overseeing project staffing, and ensuring profitability while maintaining client satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute the resource augmentation strategy to align with organizational goals.
  • Identify and target market opportunities for resource augmentation services.
  • Build strong client relationships to understand and fulfill their staffing requirements.

Business Development:

  • Set up and own the sales and business development teams to generate leads and secure contracts for resource augmentation services.
  • Develop proposals, negotiate terms, and ensure successful closure of deals.
  • Monitor market trends to identify potential opportunities and risks.

Talent Pool Management:

  • Build and maintain a robust talent pool across various domains and skill levels.
  • Design and implement processes for onboarding, training, and retaining augmented resources.
  • Ensure resources are engaged, motivated, and aligned with company values and client needs.

Client Engagement:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for client escalations related to augmented resources.
  • Ensure timely and effective deployment of resources to meet client requirements.
  • Regularly review client satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.

Operational Excellence:

  • Monitor the performance of augmented resources and address performance gaps.
  • Implement systems and tools to optimize resource allocation and utilization.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, labor laws, and internal policies.

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage the department's budget to ensure profitability.
  • Analyze revenue, margin, and operational costs to identify improvement areas.
  • Establish and monitor financial KPIs related to resource augmentation services.

Team Leadership:

  • Build and lead a high-performing team within the resource augmentation department.
  • Set objectives, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback to team members.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.

Qualifications:

Educational Background:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related fields.
  • Masters degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, SHRM, CIPD) are preferred.

Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in resource augmentation, staffing, or consulting services, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale resource augmentation projects and client portfolios.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of the staffing and resource augmentation industry.
  • Excellent client relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in resource management software and tools.
  • Data-driven decision-making with strong analytical skills.
