Mechanical Static Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and optimize static mechanical equipment (pressure vessels, storage tanks, heat exchangers, Process Columns etc.).
• Perform FEM stress analysis.
• Hands on experience in PVElite software for static equipment design.
• Provide technical support during the procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning phases of projects.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (e.g., civil, electrical, instrumentation, piping etc) to ensure seamless integration of static mechanical equipment.
• Work with vendors and suppliers to ensure the quality and timely delivery of equipment

Preferred candidate profile

Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience:
Minimum of 4 years to 10 years of experience in design and detailing of mechanical static equipment like Pressure Vessel, Heat Exchanger, Process Columns, Reactors, API tanks etc.

• Previous experience working in industries such as oil & gas, power generation, chemicals, or manufacturing is preferred.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in design and analysis software such as PVElite, Nozzle Pro, Ansys.
• Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards (ASME, API, ASME Sec VIII, etc.).
• Soft Skills:
  Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team and independently.
