Lead Infrastructure Developer

• As a Lead Infrastructure Developer with over 8 years of experience in the banking domain, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining the core infrastructure that supports our banking applications and services
• You will lead a team of infrastructure developers, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our systems, while driving innovation and efficiency within the IT department

• Design and implement robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure solutions to support banking applications and services.
• Collaborate with software development teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with application requirements.
• Oversee the integration of new technologies and methodologies to optimize infrastructure performance.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of infrastructure developers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
• Conduct performance reviews and facilitate professional development opportunities for team members.
• Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to protect sensitive banking data and systems.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, such as PCI-DSS, GDPR, and others relevant to the banking sector.
• Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments, addressing any identified issues promptly.
• Oversee the monitoring, maintenance, and optimization of infrastructure components, ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, minimizing downtime and service disruptions.
• Lead infrastructure projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies as needed.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in infrastructure technology and the banking industry.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

Qualifications :

• bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Advanced degree or relevant certifications (eg, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Information Systems Security Professional - CISSP) are a plus.
• 8+ years of experience in infrastructure development, with a significant portion in the banking or financial services domain.
• Proven experience in leading and managing infrastructure development teams.

Preferred Skills :

• Proficiency in infrastructure technologies such as cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), virtualization, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong knowledge of networking, security protocols, and firewall configurations.
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, etc).
• Familiarity with database management systems and storage solutions.
