Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer with 6 months to 1 year of experience (post completing 6 months paid internship in backend development) in Node.js, MongoDB, MySQL, Typescript, and Laravel to join our dynamic team at Tech Matpatra Private Limited. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust, scalable, and high-performance backend systems to support our web and mobile applications.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain efficient and reusable backend code using Node.js, TypeScript, and Laravel.
2. Implement and maintain APIs for web and mobile applications using RESTful principles.
3. Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and other team members to deliver high-quality software solutions.
4. Optimise application performance and scalability by fine-tuning backend systems.
5. Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and continuous integration.
6. Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth operation of backend systems.
7. Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in backend development.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Up to 1 year of professional experience as a Backend Developer with a focus on Node.js, MongoDB, MySQL, TypeScript and Laravel.
3. Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
4. Proficiency in building RESTful APIs using Express.js or similar frameworks, and Laravel.
5. Experience with MongoDB and MySQL database design, querying, and optimization.
6. Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms such as JWT.
7. Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
8. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
9. Passion for learning and self-improvement.

Preferred Skills:

1. Experience with TypeScript in Node.js development.
2. Familiarity with Docker and containerization.
3. Knowledge of microservices architecture.
4. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
