Key skills for the job
To provide Project Management as required for key business initiatives across the Company. Providing the structure and discipline of a formal project management methodology as well as maintaining the Project Portfolio.
Responsibilities:Support and drive project delivery within the business as required. Projects will be varied and wide ranging encompassing all areas of the business.
Apply best practice methodology and standards to provide project documentation including project plans to ensure timely execution of activities and the delivery of all projects on time and to quality.
Project planning, tracking and reporting.
Mobilise the project team and the business to ensure both are focused and supportive of delivering effective change.
Provide ongoing constructive challenge to shape and influence best project outcomes.
Promote project management by providing a consistent and professional service to the business.
Provide coaching and support to those delivering projects across the business.
Develop good working relationships with key individuals within the business and those external to the business as required.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Project management experience.
Effective inter-personal skills and the ability to work confidently at all levels within the organisation and external parties.
Ability to work proactively and autonomously.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
Excellent organisational skills.
Attention to detail.
Flexible approach and a willingness to learn.
Management of cross functional teams.
Degree educated or graduate calibre (Senior Project Manager).
Demonstrable working experience of the Project Management lifecycle.
Fully conversant with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint to an excellent standard.
