Senior Technical Writer (4-7 yrs)

Basic Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of technical writing experience or equivalent.

Other Qualifications :

- Experience implementing or working with enterprise software preferred.

- Proficient knowledge of DITA and XML authoring tools.

- Experience working with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).

- Proactive and able to work independently on multiple assignments.

- Background in human resources, payroll, finance, or higher education a plus.

- Software-as-a-service (SaaS) experience is greatly preferred.

Job Description :

- We are seeking a talented and experienced Technical Writer to join our team.

- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical writing, with a focus on creating clear, concise, and accurate documentation for our enterprise software solutions.

Responsibilities :

- Content Development: Create and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including user guides, administrator guides, release notes, and online help systems.

- Develop and maintain style guides, templates, and other documentation standards.

- Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather information and ensure technical accuracy. Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing and user-friendly documentation.

- DITA and XML Authoring: Utilize DITA and XML authoring tools to create structured, reusable content. Manage and maintain DITA content in a content management system (CMS).

- Ensure consistency and adherence to DITA standards.

AEM Experience :

- Leverage Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to publish and manage technical documentation.

- Create and manage content components, templates, and workflows in AEM.

- Optimize content for search engine optimization (SEO) and accessibility.

Collaboration and Project Management :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and customer support.

- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.

- Proactively identify and resolve issues, escalating as needed.
