About the Role :

We are looking for someone with a collaborative spirit and a passion for designing and engineering exceptional products.

You will be part of a small, cross functional agile team that will consist of other Software Engineers,UX Designers and Product Managers.

As a Senior Software Engineer - FE Biased Stack, you will be part of a highly collaborative team that is responsible for design, implementation and maintenance of web applications and its backend infrastructure.

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop and maintain responsive web applications.

- Collaborate with Product Managers to understand customer problems, and collaborate with Product Designers to ideate solutions and translate into delightful customer experiences.

- Mentor junior engineers, share best practices around patterns and practices, and contribute to a culture of engineering excellence.

- Be a key contributor to technical solution designs and architecture as well as balancing speed of delivery with scalability and quality.

- Work in an agile team and iteratively develop products with customer feedback.

- Actively participate in code review process by submitting and reviewing pull requests.

- Write and maintain unit tests, integration tests and end-to-end tests to ensure deployability and reliability across both frontend and backend code.

- Create and maintain technical documentation to support engineering processes, design decisions, and system architecture.

Requirements :

- 8+ years hands-on experience developing web applications.

- Proven track record of building, releasing, and supporting complex web applications in production.

- Expertise developing frontend applications using TypeScript.

- Extensive experience in frontend development using frameworks Vue or React.

- Experience working with UI design systems or component libraries.

- Exposure to working with GraphQL frameworks such as Apollo.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and a strong understanding of microservice architecture and backend technologies is beneficial.

- Well versed in Git and applying sound continuous delivery principles.

- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
